Siddartha – Hermann Hesse

Finished reading “Siddartha” by Hermann Hesse. It seems to be translation from Sanskrit script. However it does give a lovely open hearted, blossoming experience while reading.

The last book that gave me this feeling was ‘The monk who sold his ferrari’. Siddartha too is one of the motivating books, I feel. It opens up, or atleast for me, tries to clear the grime and dirt filled in our brains, flushing it with clean open thoughts.

Somehow it feels that the protagonist’s thoughts of trying to find peace amidst endless thoughts is similar to mine. No wonder I liked it.

Lost Symbol

Finished the super-fast paced book by Dan Brown, The Lost Symbol. Similar to The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons, this book too is wrapped in a single day story line. Robert Langdon, the protagonist from the other above mentioned books as well deals with America’s Masonic past and the present.
